PdfTrendHunter ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-powered market research tool for digital content creators, operated as an independent service. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you access or use PdfTrendHunter (the "Service").
PdfTrendHunter acts as the data controller for personal information collected directly from users in connection with account creation, subscription management and communications. Supabase acts as a data processor for account data storage. For AI-powered features, Anthropic, PBC acts as a separate data processor for the content of search inputs.
If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing and disclosure of your personal information.

Account data (your name, email address and Pro status) is stored securely in our cloud database, operated by Supabase (EU region, Frankfurt). All other user data: including saved ideas, preferences and usage counters: is stored locally in your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. Payment data is handled entirely by our payment provider.
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as health information, political views, or financial account numbers. Payment card details are processed exclusively by our payment provider and are never seen or stored by PdfTrendHunter.

All third-party service providers are required, by contract, to handle your personal data in compliance with applicable data protection law and only for the specific purposes for which we engage them.
The AI-powered features of PdfTrendHunter are delivered using a third-party AI language model. When you use the generate feature, your search input: specifically the niche you selected and any optional topic text you entered: is transmitted to our AI service provider for processing.
The following information is not transmitted to the AI provider: your name, your email address, your payment information, or any other personally identifying information. Your search inputs are processed solely to generate a response and are not linked to your identity in any way.
By using the AI features of the Service, you acknowledge that your search inputs (niche and topic text only) will be processed by our AI service provider. If you do not wish your inputs to be processed in this way, you should not use the AI features of the Service.
PdfTrendHunter uses a minimal number of cookies and browser local storage mechanisms to make the Service function. Specifically:
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or any cookies that track your behaviour across other websites. We do not use Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics services that would share your data with third parties.
You can delete cookies and clear local storage at any time through your browser settings. Note that doing so will log you out and clear any locally saved ideas.
Your account data (name, email, Pro status) is stored in our Supabase database and retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days after account deletion. All other data: saved ideas, preferences, usage counters: is stored locally in your browser and persists only as long as you keep it there. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings or via the "Clear All Data" option in the app settings.

Some of our third-party service providers are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. When data is transferred outside the EEA, our providers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure your data remains protected. We select providers who maintain these standards as a condition of our use of their services.
The Service is not directed at or intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, please contact us at hello@pdftrendhunter.com and we will delete the information promptly.
We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, tools or resources that are not operated or controlled by PdfTrendHunter. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content or security of any third-party site. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service or applicable law. We will notify you of any material changes by email and by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
